The exhibition was inaugurated by HR Manager of Katara Said al Dosari on behalf of General Manager of Katara Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim al Sulaiti, along with the Ambassador of the Republic of Algeria to Qatar HE Abdulaziz Sabaa.

The exhibition includes 24 artworks by Algerian artist Mohammed Talhaoui containing different geometrical and architectural shapes and designs having significance to Islam.
Talhaoui said that he had travelled all around the Islamic and Arab world to collect and study the Islamic architecture and its relation to science.
Talhaoui said: “Here, before our eyes, through the geometrical ornamental art, the secrets of the universal laws are unfolded and expressed in a powerful and unique manner.”
Talhaoui was attracted to the art early in his life when he saw the relationship between science and the geometrical decorative art. “We hope to interpret the mysteries of this priceless legacy in course of time through a collective awareness”, he added.
During his exhibition, Talhaoui will conduct a workshop on the art form for different age groups on Saturday.
